Works and works reliably. IF you are considering this version or the $10 version, SAVE YOUR TIME and just BUY THIS price. The RJ45 connector also looks unusually cheap. LEDs are sad. The USB pigtail spins like an Ahoge. The first thing I got was DOA. It smelled like burnt transistors. The LEDs lit up and indicated a connection, but the operating system didn't recognize it. The Revain exchange went smoothly. I now have two machines of this model and both have performed well over the past few months. I use one to extend Bluetooth coverage (with a USB dongle) to another part of the house, and then I use the other "daisy chain" with the first to connect a wired keyboard and mouse to another room associate. I like that it has a built in hub. Only 50 feet of CAT6 on each. Also tested with crappy old CAT5 and worked fine. Three stars because of the build quality and the first DOA device.
