Quality of packaging
Product was excellent and installation went fast and easy. The only improvement needed is better packaging and shipping. Packaging was damaged but luckily the awning was not. The awning retainer that is mounted onto the camper was the only thing bent in shipping. But we did not need it because our camper had one already installed.The cardboard tube that held awning and equipment was sealed on one end but not on other. The tube had a hole punched in it two different places. One looked to be a hand hold because the tube was 16 feet long and the second one looked just to be damaged by just throwing into truck.
- Measure between the outside edges of both Slide-Out flanges and order the Slide Topper size that allows for total fabric coverage over the Slide-Out box (the fabric itself will measure 5" shorter than the complete awning width)
- The Solera V000163298 Slide Topper Awning may not be able to fully cover some larger RV models
