Review on 🎮 Targus Laser Presentation Remote AMP13US with Key Lock Technology - Black with gray, Includes Mini USB Receiver, 50-Foot Range by Niranjan Reynolds

I bought this presentation tool because it looks like a Revain stock photo. When you actually hold an item in your hands, it feels light and cheap, as if it could easily break. The plastic exterior has a surface that is very easy to scratch. After a week of moderate use, it's already starting to look battered. The USB receiver itself was quite difficult to get to and it cost ANYTHING to download the drivers onto the DELL Optiplex 780 school computers. As I was using this for my Green Chemistry class everyone had to wait for literally 4 minutes when other groups wanted to borrow it until the drivers drive by. The device might have looked simple, but strangely, people in the class just couldn't tell which button did what. Many times users have clicked the "Start Slideshow" button to go to the next slide. Not to mention that the buttons really weren't that responsive. You have to press REALLY hard for the remote to work. Pros: - Small, light - Slightly modern design with cool green and red backlight - USB transmitter stays securely inside Cons: - Cheap plastic that's very prone to scratches - USB is a hassle to reach - Drivers load FOREVER (loud at least in my experience) -buttons are a bit sluggish -laser function actually isn't even that strong (barely visible) -obviously confusing for some people (although this may be related to their stage fright ;D ) From my experience I can't justify the high price tag for this one mediocre product.
