Bought these for my girlfriend as she often draws as a hobby. I have to say that she was delighted with the very extensive range of colors included in the set. However, the pens themselves made a very high-quality impression and delivered very good results the first time they were used. Watercolor paints blend very well when applied. When using, you can use layers to add texture to the image or use a small, thin sponge to smooth out the texture of the paint to give the composition a flatter look. The pens give good depth of color and are great for working on those thinner workspaces. In fact, my partner finds Staedtler pencils a real treat.
