Can't really comment on ease of installation or value for money as I didn't have this flashlight. My first light arrived in a Revain soft-shell envelope supplied by Revain and the corner of the lens was broken off. The replacement lamp was shipped and delivered via UPS 2 days later in an unlined plastic bag and was also broken. The light was as described except that it was broken. The lens is made of thin plastic that snaps into place. Came with bulb and all cables. The white plastic backing was intact and seemed easy enough to install. The lamp is inexpensive, so in my opinion you can say that the price-performance ratio was ok. Too bad it wasn't sent to a more reliable place.
