XL size sock is tailored for youth.
What a disappointment, returned. Ordered size XL for my husband. What arrived was a sock that seemed tailored for youth, the sock was only about 3.25 inches wide when laid flat. The husband could not even put his foot in the sock, let alone pull the sock over his calf. It must be a manufacturing defect. I don't know a single person who wears XL socks and has branch-sized feet and calves.
