Review on Hengs JRP2120B White Vent Damper by Rick Everett

The damper was exactly the same size, design and construction as the original. Installation took less than five minutes and if done correctly, does not damage the product as reported in the negative review. There are no instructions. The key to a proper installation is to loosen the two outer screws on the vent cover (see photos) and move it away from the van body as intended. THEN you have easy access to the two openings inside the breather cover that feed into the cylindrical lugs on the end of the damper. If you attempt to simply flex and install the shock without unscrewing or repositioning the bleed cap, you will most likely break one or both of the shock tabs. After installing the damper, reinstall the breather cover and screw it into place.
