The millet was packed very well. It was full of long strands. Unfortunately, the strands were very dark, almost black in places. I really wanted to like this millet because I was looking for really golden, fresh and fluffy millet. I figured I was hoping for the best and my 14 year old parrot would be the deciding factor. He approached him and took 2 bites, flew away and never returned to him. My bird loves millet and eats almost all of a strand in a day. He never touched it after the first taste. It's simple, something was wrong with this millet. I do not recommend. I returned for a refund.
