Review on 🧘 Effortless Ergonomic Solution: Ergotech Freedom Wall Mount for Ultimate Comfort and Convenience by Jesus Carlson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great product if you're careful.

This is a great product that gives me the versatility I need in a multiple table design (1 standing and 1 sitting). The assembly is well done, the movement is smooth and controlled. I would like to offer two words of warning: 1. There are 3 plastic clips on the underside of the mount that are used to route the cables. The plastic is a bit brittle, so I broke 2 out of 3. This can easily be remedied by replacing them with a homemade clip from Home Depot etc. However, if you're careful, this shouldn't be a problem. Please also note that Ergotech sent me 2 clips and a picture of the broken clips as soon as I contacted them. I hope they solve this problem with metal clips in future designs. Regardless, their support team quickly resolved the issue, so I'm not scolding them in a review. As others have pointed out, this is a very strong hand. I use 2 27" monitors for my setup. When I installed my first monitor it was the lighter of the two and difficult to hold in place. I'm sure I could adjust the springs to account for the lack of weight wear, but it's worth noting that the thin, light 27" monitor requires no adjustment to work properly. Once I installed the heavier of the two, the lever worked like a charm. Again, this isn't a ringing per se. This is just a warning for those looking to use this on a thin/light monitor, hopefully Ergotech will update future offerings to warn people about the Β£8 minimum discussed in another review.
