It took a long time to build but she loves it!
It was a lovely project that we built together with my 9 year old daughter. She drew a lot and I did most of the editing. The set goes great with a hot glue gun and I don't want my daughter to get burned with hot glue. The set required a lot of painting and took longer than I expected. The directions required a lot of focus and the accompanying photos were small and difficult to see. We threw away the clapboard and just painted the house since we had already spent so much time on the house. It started to look really nice after the windows and window trim were done. We've added some battery powered LED lights and some Christmas decorations for Christmas!
