I loved building this dollhouse for my 10 year old daughter! The instructions were detailed and relatively easy to assemble. The hardest part was just planning which wallpaper and flooring to choose. I recommend marking each piece with a pencil and stating what sheet of wood it is made of, then placing them in labeled bags. It was a lovely project that we built together with my 9 year old daughter. She drew a lot and I did most of the editing. The set goes great with a hot glue gun and I don't want my daughter to get burned with hot glue. The set required a lot of painting and took longer than I expected. I bought a Fairfield as a gift for my daughter for the upcoming holidays. I've never built a dollhouse set before, but I love the size and style of the Fairfield. Let me tell you, this home did not disappoint! I've been working on it for the last 3 days for about 12 hours and I've already finished assembling it.
