This is normal with engine management systems.

I have a 2020 Ram 2500. My fuel economy was 10 to 11 mpg. (it has a 9 inch height and 37 inch tires) I'm getting about 13 with Pedal Commander now. It adds a little pizzazz to the Sport Plus. but nothing to brag about. Maybe it would have been better on a production vehicle.
