. Bought in late spring to keep the garage cool this summer but let me tell you it saved our lives during a little heatwave we just experienced. recently. Our AC is in the sun and in the afternoon the AC decided to "freeze" when it was running to keep us comfortable. The heat was just bad. Had to wait at least an hour and only work with the AC fan to fix the freezing. Our A/C guy advised us to do this and it worked. The SPP block was brought indoors, a large plastic cover was placed under it, filled with water and ice and lo and behold. I put it back in the garage late every day to let it cool down. Excellent unit. So glad we have it. Worth every penny and when it comes out I will be buying more.
