Quite simply, for the price of this product, which is low for a shock collar, I would wholeheartedly recommend this collar for any reasonable training. We needed one to break our 8 month old Great Pyrenees puppy from some bad digging habits and rough housekeeping habits and this collar definitely helped him. The Pyrenees are a bit stubborn so getting them to do what you want them to do can be difficult. We didn't even use the shock function on the collar. We just used clay first so he knew he had a chance to stop and fix himself if he did something bad. If he continued to misbehave after the tone, we used the vibrate function and he immediately stopped what he was doing and corrected it.
