I didn't notice the difference
I also bought this cable for the radio amateur Flex 5000a. I noticed NO difference in RF shielding compared to the $7 cable I had trouble with. Both earned after installing 8 ferrites on the cables. It is slightly thicker but when folded it shows an internal gap in the jacket.
