My first review (DeathAdder Elite v1): In less than 2 years I have already returned this mouse for exchange 3 times! The first problem was the left mouse button. After a few months of use it started to fail. The 2nd and 3rd RMA were due to the adhesive on the side handles wearing off causing the handles to peel off. Although I use this mouse for gaming, I know I'm not very rough with it. I do the normal game moves that FPS players do and that's it. After all, it has to be a gaming mouse. I'm still waiting for my third replacement. To be honest I was tired of using it for months only to find something was wrong with it, so I might as well use it as a spare and buy another gaming mouse. Also, my warranty expires next year and I could just end up with a broken mouse. Build quality aside, I think it works well for both gaming and work. But it really doesn't matter if your mouse ends up with a factory defect.================================ ==== ==================UPDATE 2020-06-11 (DeathAdder Elite V2) Wanted to see if they fixed the issues with DeathAdder Elite in version 2 so I went ahead and bought one as the Mamba Elite which they sent me earlier when a replacement started to fail and their warranty period (which is based on the first DeathAdder I ordered) had expired. so good - that's why I'm increasing this from 1 star to 5 stars. The rubber grips on the sides look more harmonious than just glued on with superglue. The mouse feels lighter than the Mamba Elite. which can be good or bad depending on your preference. I like it. The DPI toggle buttons are smaller and harder to accidentally press. It's a small change, but it can make a big difference in games, as I've accidentally pressed the DPI toggle buttons many times. My 5 stars are for V2 for now. DeathAdder Elite (v1) still sucks for me so don't get it!
