Overall a great mouse

Pros: - Super comfortable - Buttons fit my fingers well and let my fingers rest in the grooves - Responsive - Two buttons next to my thumbs - Grips on the snail make it easier to use - On - and down buttons on the mouse so I don't have to go into the program to use it - plugging in calls the program to install instead of searching the website for an install - the chord is braided, not rubber/plastic - Nice matte finish, non-slip pretty nice texture. Cons: - The position of the thumb button…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

The mouse is fine. The software required is absolutely terrible.

The mouse itself gets 3 stars. The ergonomics are pretty good, but sometimes I accidentally press the thumb buttons or the adjustment buttons under the mouse wheel. The mouse wheel started creaking after a month or two. LEDs are a nuisance unless you turn them off or turn them off. What you can, but that brings us to the software. Razer apps must be installed to set up the mouse. You need to register on the Razer website and log in through the app. Sometimes for some reason (after an update I…

Pros
  • So far so good

  • Definitely bad product

Great while it lasted - third time charm?

This is my second Razer Deathadder (the first was the Deathadder 2013 and this is the Deathadder Elite) and overall both mice were great out of the box. Ergonomic, simple, it worked and did what a mouse does. No more and no less. In the end both had the same problem. If you click once with the left mouse button, this will be registered as a double click. This happens randomly due to the simplest change in pressure when you press, hold, and pull what you've selected. I looked at the comments on…

Create an online account or you won't be able to customize your mouse

This is my first review of Revain. Unfortunately, my first review will not be praising Razer mice. Instead I want to make people aware of a serious issue with their products, or more specifically with the software required to set up Razer products. Razer has decided to move the configurations of its mice, keyboards, etc. to the cloud. While this might seem like a good idea if you have multiple devices that need to be synced, it can become a big problem if you: 1. Don't want to create an account

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Razor Synapse, the software required to edit mouse settings, requires you to sign in with an account record. Here's why it's bad: Razer ID and Synapse software didn't accept my previous password the other day for an unknown reason, and it was only fixed by resetting the password. Because of this, entering the password incorrectly 3 times prevented me from entering the newly installed Synapse (20 minutes), giving me no opportunity to configure the mouse until the lock was removed and the new…

Pros
  • Nice workmanship
Cons
  • Available in black only

My first review (DeathAdder Elite v1): In less than 2 years I have already returned this mouse for exchange 3 times! The first problem was the left mouse button. After a few months of use it started to fail. The 2nd and 3rd RMA were due to the adhesive on the side handles wearing off causing the handles to peel off. Although I use this mouse for gaming, I know I'm not very rough with it. I do the normal game moves that FPS players do and that's it. After all, it has to be a gaming mouse. I'm…
