This reminds me of the quality of the old Futuro shoes I bought over 20 years ago when I broke my ankle. Ever since then I've needed an ankle brace. The last coasters like "8" I tried to fold and stretch at the seams. This has held up well so far. I'm very glad I found this. A little compression makes my ankle feel a lot better. It gets the job done without being thick, bulky, or requiring unnecessary tweaking. Great fit! By the way, I ordered XL, my shoe size is 10D (male), and XL fits perfectly; tight, comfortable and not too tight, leaves almost no marks on the foot, this is of course due to the size. UPDATE: As others have pointed out, they tend to lose their elasticity and become unusable. I originally bought 5 of these when they were about $7 each. so I stocked up. Now for the last two. They have become useless and I use size XL at 10ft so I don't stretch too much.
