My fiance and I bought these for our first apartment and wanted basic bedside tables. They were incredibly easy to assemble by simply screwing them together, no screws or tools were required. I think there was a small chip on a board or two, but the little felt tip pen couldn't fix anything. They are the perfect size and height. We have a raised bed frame and they are quite tall. A second shelf below was also very nice. Worth the price if you buy new bedside tables instead of saving.
