The dealer told me my front brakes are deformed and I need to rotate them. About a year ago I went to the dealer to try and fix some of the squeaking noises that occur when putting the car in reverse. The squeak returned a few months later. I decided to buy these rotors instead of spending more money on standard rotors. They went through with no problems and I also installed the red spacers. I'm not a professional mechanic but I try to service some things myself. I just pulled out the old pads and rotors and installed these new ones. I didn't even measure runout or try to index the rotors. The pads are still being broken in so I haven't hit the brakes hard yet but so far I'm very happy with the rotors. The squeak in reverse is gone and I have no vibration or traction with the new rotors/pads. These brakes are installed on my 2008 G37s coupe. I ordered front and rear rotors and pads. The boxes looked very worn but I wasn't home to receive/inspect the package when it arrived. When I got to the inner drawers, I found that the weight of the rotors was causing the rotors to break through the drawers. Because of this, the surface of one of the braking surfaces of the rotor appears to be worn on the ground or the like. The rotors are black and the brakes wear the black off the braking surfaces. I knew that this surface would wear out with the pads, but I was very annoyed with the condition of the rotors, which I had spent a lot of money on. Anyway, I haven't noticed any problems from this damage. Of course if I had been in the store and seen those boxes I would have stopped by but you can't do it by mail (I didn't want to deal with this heavy return and delay servicing my car. I have EBC rotors and pads installed my last few cars 3/4 ton truck, sport bike, 1/2 ton truck I have never been disappointed with this brand and will continue to buy but beware of damage in transit.
