These decorative scissors easily cut standard paper and medium-weight card. They had trouble cutting through the heavier 140-pound watercolor paper. I suppose that was to be expected. Good variety in cut design. Some scissors get stuck in the open position, if I open them too far then I have to push them back to their original position to close them. Others work fine. With careful use I expect a long service life. If I push them beyond their comfortable limits, I expect them to begin to fail. Overall I am happy with these scissors. I use them to make note cards with my original watercolors.
