The pre filter works as expected but the post filter is of poor quality and most likely not a true HEPA filter. After a few months of use, the dust got stuck in the filter and started making an unbearably high-pitched squeak. Tried flushing this filter, switched to a second new filter, vacuumed in a very dusty spot and a day later it started squeaking. I switched back to the original - thought I washed the dust in the first filter, but it didn't change. If I had known this filter was poor quality I would have bought a genuine Dyson filter. Watch the video for proof that the product is terrible. Filters are "more papery" compared to the original. Do not be fooled.
