Review on Igloos Softshell Gloves Limoges X Large by Jack Robi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The palm of each glove has a grippy finish. The description of igloos says 80 g.

These gloves were bought with me for use in damp cold, snow, ice. You should order one size larger than you think you need. I tried them on in the store. I have small hands and usually wear a size small. I ended up having to buy the women's size Med/Lg. Haven't used them yet but I think the construction of the gloves would be sufficient for use in winter weather but not for sport. Another reviewer elsewhere at Revain described some of the features of these skier friendly gloves. Each index finger has what has been described as a rubber ski goggle scraper. Another feature is the fabric area on the back of each thumb for "blowing your nose". I can't talk about it, but I can imagine getting a runny nose flying down the hill. LAUGH OUT LOUD. Each index finger also has an elastic loop, presumably for hanging from a carabiner (on a backpack?) with a glove that opens face down when it rains. The palm of each glove has a grippy finish. The igloo description states that 80g of 3M Thinsulate insulation with Aqua E4 allows air to circulate to keep hands dry.

Pros
  • Outer material: 100% polyester fabric, soft shell. Insert: waterproof, breathable insert. Insulation: 80g 3M Thinsulate Insulation (65% Olefins, 35% Polyester). Lining: 100% Brushed Polyester.
Cons
  • Some bugs
