I originally looked at all the cotton quilt sets that cost around $300, but then I did the smart thing of putting away my credit card and agreeing to this microfiber quilt set (if you want to call it that ). . Imagine my surprise when it arrived in the mail. It might be microfiber but it's so soft. I love how he feels! I washed and dried it before first use. It came out of our dryer still looking brand new (no wear, no tears). I believe it will serve us for many years. I liked it so much that I have already ordered a second set so that I can alternate 2 different colors with each wash. Overall I am very satisfied and can only recommend it. For the price it really couldn't be better. I'm amazed he's under 50! UPDATE (August 2019): It has been 7 months since my original review. I've decided to come back to give you an update. After 7 months of weekly washing and drying in our dryer, these comforters still look as good as day one! That says a lot because at night we share a bed with our beagle. All in all, I still highly recommend it!
