it's a well made big little drive
it's not a SSD drive now so you still need to be careful with these portable drives. A slight fall or bump can damage it and you will lose all your data. If your data is extremely important, spend the extra money and get a portable SSD drive. If you just want something to store your everyday essentials and take with you, this is a great little ride. I have always trusted WD products. Just note that it has small moving parts. If you drop it, it's not WD's fault as you'll have lost all your data.
