I have a size 16, waist 37 inches. dress over corset. The dress is a little roomy at the waist so this belt floats and moves rather than holding the dress in place. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to exchange it because the color is also an issue. I bought it in orange and it's a very red orange and not the bright orange in the photo. I love the quality of the belt! Even when stretched, there is no indication of white elastic and the belt buckle is metal rather than plastic.
