After owning a few nail grinders (including one from Dremel) I had enough of a dead battery before I could finish all four paws on my large dog breed. Because of this, I wanted more power and something battery-free. After seeing another reviewer saying they had successfully used this on their Great Dane, I decided to give it a try. This Dremel is perfect for the task of grinding off a large dog's claws. It already comes with matching attachments and is not overly loud. The best thing is that I never run out of "juice" and can use it for other tasks. It's a little heavier in hand than the Dremel made specifically for dogs, but I don't find that a problem (and I'm a petite woman with a small hand). This also works well with small dogs, but is probably overkill for a small dog. Would definitely recommend this if you have a large dog or multiple dogs. Edited to fix a grammatical error.
