A light runner's knee has developed, which transitions into longer runs and faster sprints. I had a slight limp and needed enough stabilization to keep my knees from buckling. That helped. There are 4 velcro straps that are very secure during squats and sprints. The straps take a bit of getting used to to find this nice spot. Don't be tense and don't talk. It offers medium/medium compression with no discomfort. Really helps reduce stress on knees, especially at high speeds. Doesn't get hot, although it's not very breathable, sweating wasn't a big issue. Personally, they're not the best, but they work.
