Review on πŸ› οΈ Accurate Park Tool Frame Alignment Gauge: Simplify and Enhance Your Bike Maintenance by Bobby Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wanted to confirm what LBS said.

So yes you can make something like this out of wood so hey! how often do you really need it? I restored my 1972 Schwinn Sports Tourer and did all the research/work myself (believe me I know a lot about these things now and could go to any bike shop for work today). I went to LBS and asked him to follow the threads on my bottom bracket. I told him I've adjusted my rear dropouts from 120mm to 135mm (YES! STEEL can be easily made. If done smart). He pulled out one of those trueing gauges and told me I was off center by almost 5mm. Hmm, I thought. Well for the price Revain is selling these sensors I decided to buy one for myself and see. Aha! So I adjusted the frame a bit, checked the alignment with my new tool and voila! Did! Aligned! Ready for powder coating and the frame looks CUTE. cheaper/stronger than all those new frames on the market today. OK, OK < it's heavier too, but I'm not a smart sausage. LOSE A POUND OF FAT AND SAVE $1,000!
