Review on π High-Performance VHBW Charger for Surface RT, Surface Pro 1, Pro 2 - Replacement Charger for Surface 1512, 1516, 1536 by Richard Gaines
Stops working after 25 days. The replacement device stopped working after 1 week.
I bought this because the reviews were good and I didn't want to spend a lot on a charger with such a delicate connector design. It worked fine for almost a month, then the LED started flickering slightly and charging stopped. I asked for a replacement which I have just received. The only other gripe is that the power supply that plugs in is chunky enough to cover two outlets on my splitters. Update: I received a working replacement. I felt tested and then was pissed when it stopped working <2 weeks later, same symptom :(. I ordered a higher capacity charger just in case this one blows through at twice the price, hope it lasts.
