The memory was inexpensive and the installation was fairly easy according to a YouTube tutorial video by 9to5 Mac. However, after installation, I experienced intermittent kernel panics when attempting to render video in FCPX. Sometimes the system rebooted without warning. Called A-Tech and fixed the problem over the phone to no avail. Unfortunately, A-Tech doesn't have diagnostic tools to check your memory and generate a report to see if there are any memory issues. I decided to return the storage and buy Crucial. After installing Crucial memory, kernel panics and random reboots no longer occurred.
