With the exception of CDs, I have almost always used Verbatim media as they have always been extremely reliable. I can't say the same for these DL Blu-ray discs. I only use them for videos so I can't comment on how they handle data. Well 2/3 of these discs fail ImgBurn and won't play on my UHD player and 2 standard BD players when the layer is defective. Playback on these players will result in video freezing and pixelation issues for a good minute up to 2 minutes before normal playback resumes. up at the same time. I think it was the model number. I've had it for a good 6-7 years). I had the same problems with these discs with both burners. Originally it was suggested to reduce the write speed by at least 2x, which I did. First I had some good burns and plays. Since then, the problems I described earlier have kept reappearing no matter how quickly I blew through them. I bought a newer burner just because of the age of my existing one, thinking it might be reaching the end of its usefulness. Unfortunately, it didn't help in my situation either. Looks like I'll keep an eye out for alternative DL BD media for my next purchase. I only gave them 3 stars because they are great for backing up data. In any case, they are not suitable for video (at least for me).
