I bought them for my two girls ages 8 and 11. Buying shorts for girls seems to be getting harder and harder as their style seemed to get shorter and shorter. They are now shorter than I am comfortable for my girls to wear. I bought these because other cycling shorts reviews have complained about the thin material that you can see through their underwear. It is great! They are long enough and the patterns are still a lot of fun. My girls love wearing them and the little pocket on the side is an added bonus! I highly recommend these shorts.
