I read the description several times and nowhere did it say that only half the lights are white and the other half are colored. You can't set all 100 to one or the other, so you'll always have a 50. Otherwise, the brightness seemed good and the remote and timer feel handy. I'd happily keep them if they could all be dyed one color or another.
