I chose this product because it is absorbed by the body. Slowly, that's what I need. It keeps my hunger under control and I don't have to worry about getting enough healthy protein. Blender and some natural sweetener, which I did. But casein came before mixers and I had a chance to try it. I ended up canceling the mixer order. My take on this: Yes, I can see a bit of grain/grain, but that's perfectly acceptable to me and I'm very picky about texture. It definitely doesn't require a blender, and while I haven't tried it without the sweetener, I did with some pure organic stevia extract. I think it was less than $10. It comes with a tiny little spoon. I currently use 2 or 3 scoops in a sports mix bottle with 12 ounces of water, which you shake to mix the stuff up. I use plain water and stevia and it's almost perfect. Stevia has its own light flavor. I also bought some pure coconut sugar which I haven't tried yet but based on a test I did with coffee I would need way too much of it since I use casein 1-2 times a day. Def will buy more when the £4 runs out. Which is another plus. Good value for money.
