Review on Gorilla Crystal Clear Repair Tape, 1.88” X 9 Yd, Clear, (Pack Of 1) by Duane Kaul

This is some seriously strong tape. I competitively race radio controlled cars and some of the bodies on these cars can get pretty hammered pretty quickly. Rather than spend $30 to replace a body and spend a week repainting my trim scheme I figured I'd go all hillbilly on it and tape it back up. I'm astounded to report that this tape not only mended my huge crack in the polycarbonate body but it actually strengthened that area from further damage. A layer of tape on top and a layer of tape on the inside of the body has basically "repaired" my problem. The tape is very transparent so the fix isn't immediately evident unless you are staring right at it. My only complaint is that it is incredibly hard to pull the tape off the roll and NOT get fingerprints in the adhesive. It's not worth lowering the review score for, though. The tape is super strong, super-clear and does an incredible job holding stuff together that doesn't want to stay together.
