it's expensive for something simple and small, but i really needed an A5 hole punch for a planner i was wanting to start so i bought this one smooth metal hole punch just looks and feels good the mechanism you use to change the orientation of the punches to fit them adapting different paper and ring sizes is a sliding thing, this page has a review by Revain with a video that helped me figure it out, you just slide the punches to fit the rings on your binding, they slide very easily, if they get stuck you can oil them a bit but mine were smooth and just slipped into the alignment of the rings on my binding I know some punches require you to use a screwdriver to unscrew and move the punches, so guess If I really draw them, just move them to where you need them. There is a paper guide on the edge of the punch, you pull out the paper guide and it shows markings for paper sizes A5, A4 etc. I slid mine onto an A5 bar and used it to guide the paper into the punch. Worked great. All sides were perforated the same way, I did about 4 or 5 sheets of paper at a time. I think this is a great hole punch that will last a long time and is easy to use. I can only recommend him.
