Firmer than I expected, fully adjustable, hit cleanly and evenly.

I was surprised by the heavy metal construction, just like a quality paper punch. The paper guide is made of the same hard but slightly pliable plastic as the paper hole. I can see how it can bend or warp if you're not careful to feed it in evenly and straight, but if you're punching through A5 paper you still won't pull it out all the way. I suggest storing it with the lead depressed so it doesn't get stuck and possibly twitch at an angle. When you slide it out, the slider has page size…

Pros
  • Sturdy metal parts for longer life, non-slip base and easy-to-empty chip tray
Cons
  • No machine

Perfect and easy to use

it's expensive for something simple and small, but i really needed an A5 hole punch for a planner i was wanting to start so i bought this one smooth metal hole punch just looks and feels good the mechanism you use to change the orientation of the punches to fit them adapting different paper and ring sizes is a sliding thing, this page has a review by Revain with a video that helped me figure it out, you just slide the punches to fit the rings on your binding, they slide very easily, if they get

Ideal for A5 planners

I took a gamble on buying it when it first came out because other '6-hole' Hole Punching" was so disappointed that it was very customizable it was taking so long I thought I'd take a chance. I'm excited I did it. I have an A5 planner that I really like and I'm tired of the hassle of having holes in my custom pages. Received this, took it out of the box and in 3 minutes or less I was able to place ALL 6 HOLES in the right place on the first try. It was very easy to set up. It's beautiful, heavy…

Pros
  • Adjustable spacing to fit most 6-hole journals/organizers
Cons
  • No instructions
