I highly recommend that you purchase Curt Manufacturing's CURT 58001 Easy-Mount Electric Bracket to make your wire harness connector more attractive and functional. You have to remove the taillights but there are 2 screws on the inside edge of the taillight assembly and then pull it back. Disconnect the tail light connector, connect the wire harness to both the tail light and the side of the vehicle. Then simply thread it through the right tail light hole and up through the left. Then tie the wire to the clutch from below. It only took me about 30 minutes to make it myself.
