Arrived well packaged with all items and lots of thread. I don't think this would be the best project for beginners as the directions are pretty limited. But if you don't mind turning to Google/YouTube, you can probably get by with it. The pattern is difficult to see because of the dark fabric, the frame is made of plastic.

Packed like no other embroidery kit I've ever worked with or bought. Sewing is difficult. This kit includes basic, simple embroidery instructions. Beginners may need to find better quality charts or videos. The threads are good but there is no direction on how to split them. Also, the needles are not embroidery needles and fabric is not ideal for this art form.

The print isn't exactly the same as the one in the photo, which doesn't bother me, but the print is actually upside down (in an awkward position) . Attempting to move and rotate the print to try to reproduce the image is not possible, so my result/result is not at all what is pictured, but neither is what I expected when I received it bought it. Great starter set. It comes with more than enough thread, which was something I was worried about. The canvas is wrinkled when you receive it - I just soaked it, stretched it, then dried it with a hair dryer to eliminate the creases. I barely had time to finish the project when not 1, but BOTH of the included needles broke in half. Never in my life has a needle broken in half which makes me think they are a bit cheap. Plus it's a great set!

I enjoyed every minute of working with this little flower scene. I haven't worked with embroidery in a while but a lot of the little details are back and I thought some things could be easier when I'm done but it looks amazing and after putting it in water and then drying it , I immediately hung it at the end of my pony wall between the kitchen and dining area. Everything you need was there except for the needle threader. And the canvas, threads and drawing were of excellent quality.

Tried to embroider for the first time. So far it's been fun, but due to the lack of clear instructions, I've had some difficulties. Namely that the names of the stitches in the instructions do not correspond to reality. If you try to find stitch videos on YouTube, then the stitch they call "frozen" and "condensed" in the instructions appears to be actually a French knot. I had to google how to do stitching as the diagrams were tiny and the print fuzzy. I was amused by some of the translations - they called the French knots "sealing stitch" and the numbering was 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
