Review on New Balance Mens 840V4 Running Men's Shoes by Robert Hayes

I'm a plus size XL woman and I've searched google for the best XL running shoes. These have come up. I also bought custom New Balance insoles for $40. So I got shoes and insoles at the same time. Immediately ripped out the original insoles and put "really amazing $40 5 star insoles" in them. And I HATE those shoes. I thought these were the worst shoes I *ever* wore. My legs are killing me and I have never had an issue where my legs felt "tired", how can legs feel tired? it is strange. but my legs felt tired and uncomfortable. So I totally despised those shoes. threw them in the closet and was upset that I spent $$$. My partner wears the same size shoes so he borrowed them to see if he liked them and when he came home from a run he said pretty much the same thing as me. but he blamed the insoles and said they had been beaten. How can 5 star reviews that say they changed lives be beaten by $40 insoles? In any case, I felt such contempt for the boots that I didn't even touch them for weeks. Then I threw away the boxes and found the original inlays. so i changed them. MY GOD! These are the BEST running shoes I've ever had! They are amazing! they are super light. super comfy. great shoes. Now I wear them everywhere, even in situations where I don't normally wear sneakers - simply because they're the most comfortable shoes I have. So stay away from those $40 insoles. First check the shoes and make sure you really need them. These shoes are amazing but I almost threw them away and realized they are the worst shoes I have ever bought.
