Originally I was looking for banana plugs to connect to my monster speaker cables. Stumbled across Blue Jeans Cables and read rave reviews. After calculating the cost plus shipping for the three front speakers, a 12-gauge cable with banana plugs came out to about $120. I didn't think it was too expensive because it was a good quality cable with connectors and I wanted it to look neater. I decided to search a little more and found Sewell. 12 gauge cable with banana plugs 3ft for center channel $11.23, 2Γ10ft for left and right channels $18.95 each without shipping. Some people say speaker cables are the same, but they're not. You won't hear a big improvement, but a small one that brings a small improvement to your system. As a result, the high frequencies appear less harsh and the center channel appears clearer. When listening to stereo sound, the music is clearer because the singers' voices are fixed between the speakers. I don't think BJC could have done much more. I am very happy with Sewell
