Dear Lusch! Ethique comes for your ass**

This is going to be long and detailed. Fair warning! Ethique is my new favorite brand. Revain ships this in plastic packaging, of course, but I've heard you can ask them not to use plastic on custom orders, so it's worth a try. This is an overview of face and hair patterns. Almost all have a gentle, natural scent that comes from the ingredients (I wouldn't mind some nice scents to be honest). They won't melt quickly if you keep them in a place where they can dry out between uses. Even if you've never used a lot of soap before, it's important to always rinse the bar off quickly after rubbing it on your body. Bars can absorb odors! Just one second underwater is normal. Finally, one of my favorite things about this entire line is that the products are effective yet minimal. Cleansing products don't stress the skin and moisturizing products aren't heavy. IMO, our bodies and hair don't get dirty enough to need detergent-level cleaning (unless you make a living cleaning portable pots). So! Let's start with the hair. Mine is skinny, flimsy and a little heat damaged for context. Becomes oily when drying out. Shampoos - Frizz Wrangler: Not made for my hair type, leftovers after rinsing predictably feel a bit heavy but still quite workable. I would suggest this works great for thick hair! Heali Kiwi: Great! Smells nice like citrus-lime, but cleans gently. I liked this shampoo. Saint Clements: Very nice too. Too cleansing for me to use every day as it is intended for oily hair and therefore dries it out a bit. Air Conditioners -Wonderful - Absolute Bomb dot com! I'm SO tired of using Lush's amazing flushing bars that do absolutely nothing. Wonderbar is exactly what you want in a solid conditioner. This gives a good amount of product and leaves your hair feeling hydrated but not weighed down. I was also able to successfully use it for co-washing. If you need deeper hydration, you can leave it on for more than 5 minutes and it works great. The Guardian - I'm pretty sure I screwed up here because everyone else seems to love this conditioner and mine is so harsh it has to be soaked. it in water for five minutes to remove a decent amount of the product. So! ***Solid Conditioner Tip: To get the product absorbed into ALL of your hair, dip your head in the shower for a split second after the first few touches of the strip. Water will wash away the product between each strand, you can also squeeze it a little. Then make a few more strokes on your head and you're done! Now for a facial! Cleanser - Bliss Bar: This is the best gentle cleanser I have ever used. It's the perfect super soft cleanser. If you have sensitive skin like me, you should definitely try Bliss Bar. In Your Face: This was for oily skin and was too dry for me personally. Still quite soft compared to pharmacy cleaners with SLS. Gingersnap: It smells damn good. Very spicy and ginger. You basically rub the strip on your face and it gently exfoliates. It leaves a moisturizing film which I really appreciate because after exfoliating you really need that extra layer of protection while the skin heals a bit. the perfect amount of moisturizer. It also smells exactly like lilies! Also, I didn't throw up, which is a miracle and a testament to ethics because literally 99.5% of moisturizers incapacitate me. You can easily adjust the amount of moisture you need. It stays on the skin for around 15 minutes before absorbing but leaves a moist feeling. Like most serums, who knows if it'll actually do anything, but it's a joy to apply! *** Moisturizer / Serum Tips: Always handle the bar with clean hands! This is not a pump bottle, you need to take care of your Happy Lil Earth bars and make sure they don't get covered in bacteria.
