The case itself has some surface imperfections that at first made me doubt the integrity of the case. However, the installation went smoothly and matched the standard location of my 2009 e350 4-matic. After using the thermostat for several months, the only weak point was the spring clip that holds the upper radiator hose to the thermostat housing. This resulted in a loss of tension, causing the radiator hose to dangle while driving. I installed a worm drive clamp to secure the tubing in place. A better quality clip would make me give it 5 stars.
