This is a good coffee maker that makes it easy to get your caffeine hit. While most of the time I prefer to use my espresso machine to make a fancy coffee drink, sometimes all you need is a simple and functional coffee maker to make a regular cup of coffee. This one fits that bill perfectly. There are many things I appreciate and just one area I would say is not entirely negative but maybe worth mentioning before making a purchasing decision. Advantages: - Attractive stainless steel finish. - Reusable filter - No more buying cone filters, one hygienic, washable and reusable - Easy to use - Reliable brewing. Semi negative: - The screen is constantly brightly lit. This is our kitchen, which is part of a large room, and sometimes when we have many guests, someone sleeps in the living room. It is so bright that it has to be turned off in order not to disturb our guests in such cases. Overall, this is a great coffee maker that would look great in almost any kitchen. The price is a little steep compared to some mainstream brands, but with a recent coupon ($10 off the $70 price tag) it's in the same range as most mid-range mainstream coffeemaker brands I've seen before would have. If it proves reliable over time, I think it will be a winner.
