The laces are porous so they won't stay tied even if you try to double knot them. So ok easy fix just grab some laces you like... when i tried to measure the length i noticed that the lace wraps around the top of the heel so it looks like a sewn tunnel , which goes around the back of the shoe. Haven't tried it yet, but it might work. It's a good shoe, just a very stupid choice of laces, picked by some idiot.
