Incredibly sharp and durable, far better than stainless steel
I can't speak for the AB carbon steel blades, only the stainless steel blades that come with SVR knives. I never liked the idea of a stainless steel blade. If you find yourself in a damp or humid environment, I think the choice is for you. But if that's not really a problem, then stainless steel is just soft and not that good with an edge. The aforementioned stainless steel blades were just that. Not particularly impressive. However, these ABB blades are impressive. Sharp and strong enough to stay sharp for quite a while. Great upgrade at a reasonable price.
