At first glance, the CBVR seems like a great tool for cryostorage. It holds 81 vials and fits into a standard freezer with ease. The polycarbonate material is durable and easy to clean. However, there are a few drawbacks that prevent me from giving it a higher rating. Firstly, the 9x9 array of vials can be difficult to navigate, especially when you need to retrieve a specific vial quickly. The spacing is tight, and the vials can get stuck at times. Additionally, the lid of the CBVR is not very secure. It is easy for it to accidentally come loose and expose the vials to freezer burn. Overall, the CBVR gets the job done but comes with some minor inconveniences. It's not the most user-friendly cryostorage solution out there, but it is definitely a solid option.
