Terrible filter. The discharge is too strong and will damage your plants and tire any fish that are not good swimmers. You can't customize it either. You would think that with so much water displacement, it would at least clean the water, but no. All of the substrate that is expelled from this pump and the fish that it irritates just keep swimming in the water. Good aquarium. You will need to purchase a different filter and lighting system if you have live plants. I wish I had known all of this before I bought it. I would just buy a bigger tank with no add-ons as I'll have to buy them anyway.
