Review on POWERTEQ Edge Products Evolution Dodge by Matthew Sytniak

Bad product and worst customer service.

As bad as this product is, Edge's customer service is even worse. I bought what was supposed to be a new and improved CTS3 Evolution for my 2012 Ram with a 5.7L Hemi, only to be told at first that "the SKU doesn't support customization". I tried updating before calling support but that didn't change anything. I then called support and they told me the device didn't have a license installed, but their techs could fix it with an update. They did that but stated the wrong license, stated them for GM instead of Ram. So more time waiting on the phone while they put the ram license on the device. They told me I should be fine, but I wasn't. I then received a message that my vehicle (which is fully stock) contains ECUs that are not currently supported. So the technician uploaded the information to send back to the engineers. Six days after it all started, the engineers still haven't caught him. On the third day I called and asked to be put through to a manager, someone named Aaron/Erin Chapman, and was told he/she was in a meeting and would call me back in an hour, but of course that didn't happen . I called back two days later and asked to speak to the manager again, but of course he was "in a meeting" again and couldn't speak to me. At this point the decision was made to return this product and spend my money on another brand, hopefully one that actually tries to take care of their customers in a timely manner. This was my first and last product purchase from Edge. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
